SM Electric performed the installation of a new line position for the 230KV Oil Static Line at New Milford Substation. Work included the installation of three (3) 230kV Disconnect Switches, one (1) 230kV Dead Tank Circuit Breaker and all other associated electrical work to complete the 230kV V-2222 Line Relocation Project at New Milford Switching Station. SM Electric self-performed all the rigging and installation of steel supports, as well as installation of the round bus, insulators, pothead structure, and the welding of the strain bus. The contract included all associated wiring in the control house as well as multiple relay rack modifications.
