NJ Transit Light Rail Installation
S.M. Electric Company, Inc. has completed seven years and several phases of this 15 year improvement project. Thus far, S.M. Electric has completed multiple passenger stations, including Exchange Place in Jersey City, as well as the tunnel phase of the project.
The project is the first in the state of New Jersey involving a design/build/operate and maintain project execution for a Light Rail Park & Ride System that runs from Bayonne (Hudson County) to Secaucus, NJ (Bergen County).
