NJ Transit Light Rail Installation Project

S.M. Electric Company, Inc. has completed ten years and several phases of this 15 year improvement project. Thus far, S.M. Electric has completed multiple passenger stations, including Exchange Place in Jersey City, as well as the Weehauken tunnel phase of the project.

The project is the first in the State of New Jersey involving a design, build, operate and maintain project execution for a Light Rail Park & Ride System.
