Representatives from S.M. Electric have held a variety of leadership positions within the electrical contracting industry's professional associations, including the National Electrical Contractors Association (NECA), the American Subcontractors Association, and others. President, John J. Murphy, serves as president of the North Jersey Chapter of NECA as of January, 2007.
