Project Executive
S.M. Electric is seeking highly experienced Project Executives for several of our tri-state area locations. As the senior manager in charge of a project, the Project Executive is responsible for:
- Overseeing overall project(s) construction, including: regularly assessing variables such as project cost, schedule, procurement, material controls, staffing and labor relations, and modifying as needed to ensure project is completed on time and within budget.
- Ensuring that all personnel perform work in accordance with S.M. Electric’s––and the industry’s––rigorous safety standards.
- Ensuring that each project adheres to S.M. Electric's policies and procedures
- Managing the completion of work in compliance with the project contract and all applicable codes, standards, plans and specifications.
- Supervising and scheduling all subcontractors.
- Working closely with customers and responding promptly to their issues or concerns.
- Representing S.M. Electric in all client/subcontractor meetings
- Ensuring that workers are properly and regularly trained on safety and work performance-related matters.
- Preparing and analyzing project budgets.
The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of project management experience and proven leadership and collaborative abilities. A college or technical degree is a plus. Candidates should also have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
